The life you want and deserve.

Essentially, coaching is for when you want to make a positive change and you’d like help making it. That can take many forms; insight into what is going on, knowledge and practical action on what to do, accountability and support. My own personal type of life coaching is about your life, love and relationships. The Beatles said ‘All you need is love.’ I totally agree.

And the greatest, most significant love of all is you. Your love for yourself will be the foundation and compass for the whole of your life. People often say, ‘You have to love yourself first before you can truly love anyone else,’ and that is true but it’s not always easy. Self love sets the tone for everything going on in your life because it informs every decision you make and every thought you have. Even if you don’t realise it.

Life does not tend to be divided into compartments that don’t affect each other. If one part of your life is not working quite often it will run over into another, with each area affecting another. How you feel about yourself will show up in not only in your relationships but across the board, in your work, your health, your happiness and so on. So we look at your life and what is not as you would want it to be, we look at what needs to change and I coach you and we work together to make it different. To make it the life you want and deserve.

And you deserve better no matter what mistakes you may have made, no matter your childhood was like and no matter what list of flaws, imagined or real, you can show me. You can be imperfect and feel damaged and have done things you wish you hadn’t, you still deserve joy and peace and love.

With this focus on love it is not surprising that I also work on coaching people with dating, relationships and heartbreak. Again, we look at what is not working; you would like to stop choosing partners that don’t work for you, you want to stop obsessing about your ex or you would like to stop having the same argument with your partner but you don’t know how to move past it. We identify the problem and how to change it. Coaching brings knowledge, action, learning and with me right by your side as you flourish, we change your life for the better.

 

Anybody who is looking for help should get the best support they can and the most effective. Life coaching is not always the right step for you. If you have trauma, addiction or mental health issues a medical professional or therapeutic relationship may be more appropriate to delve deeper and give you the level of support you need at this point. To this end, if we have an introductory phone call and I think this may be the case, I may suggest that this is the next right step for you and that we don’t work together right now. I will say this with love and because I do not want you wasting time and money on something that won’t work for you and more importantly because I want you to have the most supportive and effective help.
